Undergraduate background: 211 Public Relations, average score of 84

Q2: Why choose University of Leeds?

Because I was very interested in the cultural and creative industry and hoped to study in depth during my master's degree, I only chose colleges with this major. Q3: What do you like most about the University of Leeds?

What I like most about the environment is the strong academic atmosphere of the entire school. You can feel the strong desire to learn when walking around the campus. What I like most about my study life is that our professional teachers are very serious and tolerant. They will answer the questions patiently and keep in touch by email at any time after class. In particular, our major will have a language teacher, Graham, who is responsible for helping students with some academic language problems they encounter when writing papers. He will remember each of our names and then share some language resources after class. for our reference.

Q4: Have you participated in any interesting activities during your school days?

Because of professional issues, the school often organizes some tours, which are to visit some more meaningful places for study. I remember one time the professor took us to an abandoned winery (if I remember correctly) called the Tetley. Now It has been transformed into a small cultural and creative park. There will be some exhibitions of modern and contemporary art. It is very interesting and I took a lot of notes and wrote them in my after-class paper.

Q5: What do you think is the most useful part of what you learned in your major?

In the first semester, I took an elective course called Participating in Modern Cities. This course was particularly interesting. The original plan was that we would do some physical projects offline with some art institutions, but due to the epidemic, it was changed to online So we participated in a theater art course and helped them promote and record the art course. During this process, I saw people of different ages, teenagers, the elderly, and artists working in different industries. All people’s enthusiasm and heartfelt love for art. During that time, I often felt very happy. , even under the lockdown environment, everyone is still positive and optimistic.

It's the time with my friends. During this year in Leeds, I met so many outstanding people and gained many precious friendships. The unforgettable moments that I think of now are all when I am with them.
