School and major

Communication and Media, University of Leeds

There are three compulsory courses including graduation thesis, but this major has many elective courses, which require a total of 60 credits. Each elective course has 15, 20, and 30 credit courses🗂 . Therefore, the elective modules will be based on personal choice and determine how many courses you will take in this year of study. The advantage of Leeds' media major is that there are many choices for elective modules. You can choose the major that you are very interested in based on your interests or expertise .

Study experience

Because there were so many elective courses to choose from, I was confused at the time😢, but when I finally got the chance to take classes, I chose the electives of Publicity Media, Culture and Society, and Reality Show. Because I am very interested in reality TV shows, I am very satisfied with this elective. I also got a very good grade in my thesis at the end of the course. Highly recommend ‼ ️For other electives, it is recommended that students first understand the specific teaching content and arrangements through the official website before making a choice⭕️ . For example, one of my classmates chose film and television script development🎥 , which is also a very interesting elective. Another advantage of this major is that the background restrictions for undergraduates are not very strict. For students who are cross-majors, the school may need to understand your connection with this major before making an offer to you. Why did you choose this major? What experiences have you had related to this profession? etc. Students are required to fully understand and prepare for their majors before 🈸️ ! !

Thank you, senior David, for bringing us a great study experience👏 . Wang Wanwan has always answered all questions 💁🏻‍♀️ about the seniors ’ study experience. I hope to help more students fully understand the major they want to study. Which major do you want to know about in the next issue? Tell us in the comment area 8⃣️ ! !
