Queen Elizabeth Secondary School transfer experience in January

Everyone knows that Wang Wanwan is a British middle school and preparatory student.

The students who applied to transfer to Queen Elizabeth Middle School some time ago have successfully entered the school. Let’s take a look at what experiences these students have gained after one month of entering the school~ 👏🏻

🧑‍🏫 Q : What stage are you studying now❓ Can you keep up after enrolling in January❓

🧑🏻‍🎓 A: I am currently studying in a key class at the GCSE stage✏️. I have just been here for a month and I can still keep up 🏃🏻 . In fact, the content and difficulty of the school has just started✔️, and I can basically listen to it . I understand, but I feel that the students around me seem a bit powerful👊🏻 . I should have studied the content of this semester in advance during the winter vacation. After the teacher asked the question, some students answered it🥹

🧑‍🏫 Q: Are there many Chinese students in the class❓

🧑🏻‍🎓 A: Because I am in a key class, there are more Chinese students in the class than in ordinary classes📈. You also know that British students are not very popular . They take the initiative to choose ordinary classes when they enter school. class, so the class I am in will have more international students, which is a good thing for me. I will be a little more involved and I will be more motivated to study🤣

🧑‍🏫 Q: How is the teacher’s teaching quality ? Have you encountered any problems in class❓

🧑🏻‍🎓 A: The teachers are very responsible❗️The content is explained in detail. Although my English is not particularly good when I first arrived📔 , the teacher’s speaking speed is a bit fast for me, but I can understand 70% of it. The meaning can be understood even when strung together. After a period of class, my English understanding is getting better and better🔝 . If we encounter something we don’t understand in class, the teacher will also signal us to ask directly. This is also related to a normal life. Grades, so understanding + asking questions + answering questions are fine. I haven’t encountered any problems so far📒

🧑‍🏫 Q: Is there any difference between students who enrolled in January and students who enrolled in September❓

🧑🏻‍🎓 A: There is basically no difference. We are taking classes together with the students who enrolled in September 📖 . However, we have not studied the courses before January and need to learn by ourselves to make up for the course content in the first half of the year. One difference is that there is a major exam in the first year of the GCSE stage. Before the major exam, the teacher will give us a mock paper 📄 for those of us who enroll in January to see our abilities. If we do well in the exam, we can take the exam. If we do not do well, we can take the exam. If so, you will not take the major exam in the first year🙅🏻

🧑‍🏫 Q: How do you feel about the school’s facilities ? Are there any extracurricular activities ?

🧑🏻‍🎓 A: The school’s facilities are very new and complete. Basically, all imaginable activities are available here🥳 . I prefer to go to the coffee shop☕️ and the reading room📖 . In addition, you can also go out to York Town on weekends. Take a walk 🏰 , I like the city of York very much, there are many medieval castles, just wander around and the weekend will be over~ ☑️

The above is the experience of students entering the January GCSE key class of Queen Elizabeth Middle School. There are currently 🈳️ places available in September⃣️ . I want to go to 🈸️🇬🇧 middle school. Backstage ✉️ beep!
